We are bestowing countless blessings upon the devotees living in America. Our venerable Sri Ahobila Muth that has been in existence for over 600 years has many branches (saakai) and hundreds of thousands of sishyas all over Bharath. Today, a branch has opened in America as well. Our Sri Sannithi is growing by the day and its administration and expense are also increasing. Due to the continuing Sancharam staring from the first day We took over the responsibility for this Asthanam, income has increased to some extent and therefore the expenses are being managed. Presently, Sancharam has become strenuous since We have crossed 75 Thirunakshathrams and are physically less energetic. Also, income from land owned by our Sri Sanithi has dwindled considerably. In this circumstance, We are having to increase the compensation to Kainkaryaparas in line with increasing cost-of-living and present-day conditions. For this alone the cost is Rs. 2 lakhs every month. Rs. 2.5 lakhs are required each month for Tadhiyaradhanai. Besides, We are taking care of all the expenses (including compensation and boarding & lodging for pupils) of running Sri Ahobila Muth Sanskrit College at Madhuranthagam. The expense for this is about Rs. 1.5 lakhs per month. We wish to open a Patasalai for Vedas and Dhivya Prabhandham at Selaiyur, Chennai soon. Many other Kainkaryams remain including renovation of several Sri Muth buildings. For all these activities a continuing income of Rs. 8 to 10 lakhs per month is required. Considering all this, We wish to establish a Corpus Fund of Rs. 10 Crores, so that the interest from the fund may be used to meet the expenses of the administration. Even though many devotees have generously contributed it has proved impossible to generate significant savings because the income is just enough for the expenses. We are pleased with the regular contributions and great support offered by the devotees living in America. Recently, on the occasion of Our 9th Caturmasya Sankalpam, you have collected Rs. 9.2 lakhs and sent it through Sriman Dileepan. We have included this amount to the Corpus Fund. If all of you continue this support to the extent of your ability, there is no doubt that Our wish will soon become a reality with the divine grace of Sri Malolan.
