Sri Ahobila Muth's Sri Balaji Mandir Project
As per the directions of His Holiness, it has been proposed to have Sri Balaji Mandir resembling the Deities (Murthis) and structures of Tirupati Temple. A few elevation plans of the temple being constructed are given overleaf. The project will comprise, Temple with Sri Balaji, Sri Lakshmi, and Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha Sannidhis, ASHRAM for Acharya, a big Temple Dolotsava Hall for Religious Activities, Quarters for Pujaris and Staff, Guest rooms, one open well for temple and additional open well Pushkarini with steps and Library of Religious Books. The height of stone moolavar vigraha (i.e. main Murthi) of Sri Balaji will be 9 feet and total height of this temple including Vimanarn (Kalas) will be 45 feet. The height of stone Vigrahas of Sri Laxmi & Sri Laxmi Nrisimha will be about 5 feet and both the temple sannidhis will be of 35 feet, and each will be on either side of the main Sri Balaji temple. The entire temple complex is spread over on 19,000 Sq. ft. of open land. This temple project will be an important religious centre at Pune. Entire project is estimated to cost about Rs. 125 lacs; which needs to be raised by way of donations from devoted and dedicated Astikas from Pune City and other places. THE FOUNDATION STONE for this project was laid on 17/2/98 at the hands of His Holiness and the work is in fast progress with plinth level nearing completion. His Holiness has constituted a Core Committee and an Advisory Panel for accomplishing this task.

His Holiness SRIMAD AZHAGIYASINGAR has instructed that the above facilities are to be made available free of cost to all visiting Vaishnava Acharyas, Shankaracharya, and other Muttadhipathis.

DONOR'S PRIVILEGES
Donations are solicited from all Astikas and we earnestly desire that there should be a wide participation of people of Pune City and all over.

We also solicit participation by way of contribution towards the cost of temple construction in multiples of Rs. 1,000 per Sq. ft.

His/Holiness has also issued directives to accord the following privileges to Donors in continuing order.

1. Donors Contributing over Rs. 1000:
   Names will be published in souvenir to be released and special invitation to temple inaugural function.
2. Donors Contributing over Rs. 5000:
   Preference in temple programs. Special annual pooja will be performed in the temple on the birth date of the Donor. 3.Donors Contributing over Rs. 11000: Names will be displayed permanently on the Temple Board. Preference in staying arrangement at Sri Ahobila Mutt at Tirumala - Tirupati and Other Mutt's Locations.
3. Donors Contributing over Rs. 25000:
   Names will be engraved on that part of temple if a portion of temple is undertaken by the donor. Special poojas will be performed in the temple on the birth date of donor's family member and on any other day at the choice of the donor.
4. All major donors will also get Sanman and a remembrance gift from the hands of Acharya at the time of His Holiness visit on completion of the project.
